Overview
Armen Software (IE Armen Yakhshibekyan, Individual Entrepreneur registered in Armenia) operates Chrome extensions, mobile applications, and associated websites and services. This policy covers all products and services operated by Armen Software.
The short version: We collect almost nothing. Your data stays on your device.
Data We Collect
Chrome Extensions
Our Chrome extensions operate locally on your device. As a general principle:
- All user-generated content (screenshots, notes, summaries) is captured and stored locally on your device
- No user content is transmitted to our servers unless explicitly required for a feature (e.g., AI-powered features that use API calls)
- No browsing history or page content is collected
- License keys (if you purchase a paid plan) are validated via Paddle's API — we do not store your payment information
Mobile Applications
- Mobile apps follow the same local-first approach
- We do not collect or transmit personal data unless required for core functionality
Per-Product Details
Screenshot Pro — All screenshots are captured and stored locally using Chrome's Storage API. No screenshot data is ever transmitted to our servers. Permissions used:

These permissions are used solely for the described functionality. We follow the principle of least privilege.
Websites
- We use basic analytics to understand traffic (page views, referral sources)
- We do not use cookies for tracking
- We do not sell or share data with third parties
Third-Party Services
- Paddle.com — processes payments as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing, taxes, and compliance. Paddle's privacy policy applies to all payment transactions. We do not receive or store your credit card information.
- Chrome Web Store — distributes our browser extensions. Google's privacy policy applies.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — used by AI-powered features. Data sent to the API is processed according to Anthropic's usage policies and is not used for model training.
Data Retention
User-generated content in our extensions is stored locally on your device until you delete it or uninstall the extension. We retain no server-side copies. License validation data is transient and not stored beyond the validation request.
Your Rights
You can delete all locally stored data by clearing extension storage or uninstalling the extension. For questions about payment or license data processed by Paddle, you can contact Paddle directly or reach out to us.
